One or more: goal, gooal, goooal
A regex exercise from Regexdrill. Solve it with a pattern box with live highlighting in your browser, checked against hidden test strings, and it is checked the moment you submit.
The task
The whole line must match. Match g, then one or more o characters, then al. So goal, gooal and goooooal match, but gal does not.
What this exercise teaches
go+al needs at least one o. go*al would also accept gal, which has none.
A hint if you get stuck
The plus sign means one or more of the thing before it. The star means zero or more.
