About Regexdrill
Regexdrill is regular expression practice exercises with instant checking. It is one of the Dravari drill sites, a family of practice tools built on the same idea: the fastest way to learn a skill you use at a keyboard is to do it, on a live tool, with instant checking, until it is a reflex.
From the founder
I built Regexdrill because the way I actually learned was by doing: a task, a wrong answer, a fix, again. Videos and articles never stuck. Regexdrill is regular expression practice exercises with instant checking, with every answer checked on live data so a memorized formula does not pass. The first tasks are free so you can see whether it works for you before paying anything.

How the exercises work
Read the task: A short, exact rule and a handful of lines that should and should not match. Write the pattern: Matches highlight on every line as you type, with a pass or fail mark beside each one. Pass the hidden tests: Check runs on lines you have not seen. Feedback names the line and the kind of mistake. Hints and a reference answer follow.
Every exercise is checked automatically against the expected result, not against a fixed answer string, so a correct approach passes even when it is written differently from the reference solution. If a check ever seems unfair there is a report link under it, and reports are read.
Who makes it
Regexdrill is made and operated by Dravari, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company based in Wilmington, Delaware, USA. The sites are built and maintained by a small team; there is no outside funding and no advertising on the practice pages. Revenue comes from Pro subscriptions, which is what keeps the free exercises free.
